SARA URBANSKI
Sara Urbanski is a Helsinki-based art student from Aalto University, Finland. Her work could be described best as inter-disciplinary art. Sara has graduated as a bachelor in interior architecture and also has minor studies in photography and cinematography. She is best describes as a person who sees the interest in every aspect of life. Her passion is to find innovative ways to combine art forms in order create something new. In her view, a photograph is not just a photograph, it’s a possibility to express different techniques and subjects harmoniously.
Sara’s past photography work has been mostly within the design and art world. Her latest project is photography for the Rajaton Collective’s exhibition which was part of Helsinki Design week in 2019. Now she is collaborating with designer Piia Jalkanen on a video installation project for next Helsinki Design Week 2020. The installation combines furniture design, video projection and sound design.
